Is negative hallucination still a viable concept?

چکیده
Hallucinations are defined as perceptions unrelated to any mpirically observable objects in the environment. On the conrary, negative hallucinations refer to the inability to perceive bjects that are present. The pertinence of the latter experience as recently been put into question by the exploration of cognitive lindness. Cognitive blindness refers to an absence of the concious processing of specific aspects of the sensory environment. ere, through a brief historical and psychopathological overview f the overlaps and distinctions between these theoretical entities, e would like to question the contemporary validity of negative allucinations.
